Prior to joining George Smith Partners in 2010, Mr. Sarkissian spent 17 years at Bank of America, providing commercial real estate loans since 1997 including conventional and SBA lending. From 2002 to 2009, Mr. Sarkissian held the #1 lender status nationwide, including 52 consecutive Top Gun quarters and The Annual Award of Excellence for 12 consecutive years at Bank of America. Mr. Sarkissian joined GSP to expand his pool of lenders to his clientele, and since joining has recorded an approval rating in the high 90% range.
As an owner of multiple commercial real estate properties, Mr. Sarkissian has compiled a vast knowledge of the CRE market, and has broadened the scope of his lending projects internationally. He specializes in owner/user, construction, and office/retail/industrial investment. Mr. Sarkissian’s comprehensive background in underwriting and risk management, as well as his extensive connections in the real estate community, have enabled him to fund or assist in over 800 transactions, totaling over $1 billion in financing.
Mr. Sarkissian is an alumnus of California State University at Northridge.
