Katie H. Rodd

Ms. Rodd joins George Smith Partners after a decade of direct Capital Markets origination and underwriting in New York and Los Angeles.  Most recently Katie was with the Real Estate Capital Markets group at Wells Fargo in Los Angeles originating CMBS and non-recourse balance sheet loans.  Her prior experience includes loan origination at Capmark Finance (formerly GMAC Commercial Mortgage), where she closed in excess of $2.5 Billion of debt transactions from 2004 to 2008.  Katie also brings development advisory experience to GSP, having worked for three years with a real estate consulting firm conducting feasibility studies relative to residential and commercial development projects.

Katie graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University, is fluent in French, and also speaks German.  She grew up in the UK, has lived in France, and her love of travel has taken her through Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America with highlights to date of Tibet, South Africa, Argentina, and Peru.  Katie is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for her 208-unit condo building on the Wilshire Corridor.
